← Pomodose timer

Privacy

Pomodose is built privacy-first. Your timer, settings, and stats live on your device and never leave it. The only data we collect is anonymous, cookieless usage analytics — and you can turn it off whenever you like.

What stays on your device

The timer runs entirely in your browser. Your durations, theme, progress, and focus stats are stored locally (in localStorage) and are never sent anywhere. There are no accounts and no login — nothing identifies you.

What we measure (anonymously)

To understand whether Pomodose actually helps people build a focus habit — and which features are worth improving — we collect a small set of anonymous behavioral events (for example: a focus session started, or a full focus cycle completed). This is product analytics via PostHog, and we keep it deliberately minimal:

How to opt out

Open Settings → Privacy and turn off “Share anonymous usage.” That stops analytics immediately on this device. We also respect your browser's Do Not Track setting where it's present.

Your choices

You're always in control: opt out anytime in Settings → Privacy, and we collect as little as possible by design. This page is updated whenever what we measure changes.
